SURFACES
- Smooth painted plaster or plasterboard walls.
- Not for use on rough, textured, uneven or unfinished surfaces.
PREPARATION
- Make sure the wall is clean, dry, and free from dust.
- Allow recently painted or primed walls to cure for 30 days prior to applying wallpaper.
- We recommend you try one of our samples in an inconspicuous location for 7 days to check the surface is suitable.
- Gather any tools you may need, a craft knife, a ruler, a squeegee, and a friend.
- We recommend that installation be completed by 2 people.
- Unroll your wallpaper on a clean flat surface, with the image side down.
- Check you are hanging them in the correct order.
All Rampart wallpapers have a faint guideline.
10mm from the RIGHT side of the roll. Our bolder prints come in pairs.
These designs have a faint A and B in the top right corner of each roll.
APPLICATION
- Start on the top left side of the wall, and the top left side of the roll.
- Peel away 10cm of paper backing from the top of the roll and create a crease.
- Align the top of the wallpaper with the ceiling, ensuring it is straight, and press the wallpaper against the wall.
- If you are unhappy with the placement, slowly peel off the paper, reposition and reapply.
- Gently peel the backing down 10cm at a time and smooth out the wallpaper, from the center outwards. Using the squeegee or your hand.
- Continue to remove the liner. Use enough pressure to give a good bond between the adhesive and the wall.
- Go over the whole panel to check for air pockets. If these cannot be squeezed out, use a sewing needle to create a tiny hole and allow the bubble to be pushed flat.
- Once the sheet is completed, apply the next roll.
- Take care to align the graphic with an overlap of 10mm. Our designs come with a mark on the right side of the roll to guide you.
- Once the area is complete, use a sharp knife and ruler to trim any excess.
- Give the edges an additional squeegee to ensure good adhesion and avoid lifting.

Wipe down with a damp cloth when needed.
Avoid any chemical cleaners.

The wallpaper is expected to stay in place indefinitely.

Start in a corner.
Slowly and continuously peel the graphic away from the wall.
