How To Hang Guide

Step 1: Wall Preparation.

Clean your wall with a warm damp cloth and gentle home detergent. Allow the wall to fully dry. While you are doing this check if your wall is completely smooth. Rampart wallpapers adhere best to primed and painted plaster board walls. If the wall is recently painted it is best to wait 30 days for the paint to completely dry. Rampart wallpapers may not remove cleanly from textured walls.

Step 2: Placement.

It is helpful to have a guide to ensure your wallpapers are hung straight. This may be the ceiling or a perpendicular wall. We recommend starting in the top left corner of the wall and working your way to the right side. Rampart wallpapers overlap by 10mm. You may want to mark that on each roll, or simply use the alignment of the images as your guide.

Step 3: Application.

Begin by peeling back the liner approximately 15cm and making a crease in the liner. Align the material on the wall at your desired starting point, smoothing it with your hand or a squeegee, pressing firmly as you go.
Continue down the wall 15cm at a time. Rampart wallpapers can be repositioned multiple times.
If bubbles appear, lightly rubbing can remove them. You may also use a pin to pop the bubble and smooth it in a circular motion with your fingers.
Trim any excess with a craft knife.

Step 4: Removal

Slowly peel the wallpaper off from the corner, like you would a sticker. We recommend using isopropyl alcohol spray to loosen the adhesive if the wallpaper has been on your wall for a long time, and if you are not wanting to re-use the paper.
